Team Lazer attended the USA Gymnastics Xcel State Championships and had so much success! We wanted to take the opportunity to recognize their accomplishments and share their hard work with the community!! Below is each child who attended and their individual placement and the goals they met! Coaching these girls is such an honor!
Allie Haynes- Vault 3rd place
Bars 2nd place
Beam 4th place
Floor 2nd place
All Around: 1st place Texas State Champion!
Allie met several personal goals this weekend including keeping her back knee under on her split leap, even leg seperation on balance beam and holding her handstand dismount! We are so excited and proud of her! Allie was super focused and it paid off and we are so excited for her!
Karlee Lowery- All Around: 7th place
Karlee met several goals this weekend including a no fall beam routine, straight shape on her vault, and clean dance on her floor routine! She has come so far since the start of the season and we couldnt be more excited for her progress and proud of her hard work!
Hailey Gokey- All Around: 9th place
Hailey met several goals this weekend including landing her cartwheel on beam which has been a HUGE focus for her over the past few months! This was an awesome accomplishment and we are elated to be coaching Hailey
Jaci Young- Vault: 8th place
Bars: 7th place
Floor: 3rd place
All Around: 6th place
Jaci met several goals at this meet including pointing her toes on her tumbling, keeping her knees tight, and connecting her bar rotuine! Jaci has had an amazing season and we are so excited to see where this sport takes her!
Marcy Moore- All Around: 7th place
Marcy had a great meet and hit several goals including standing up on the bar for her squat on, doing her cartwheel on beam with straight legs and keeping her knees tight on her leap pass! We are so proud of her hard work!
Abi Yaws- Bars: 7th place
All Around: 10th place
Abi did so awesome at her state meet this weekend! We are so proud of her meeting her goals! She blocked on her vault, made her under swing on bars, and kept her arms by her ears on her back walkover! We are so proud of her!
Jaslyn Reddic- Vault: 6th place
All Around: 10th place
Jaslyn did so great this weekend! She hit several goals including blocking on her vault, sticking her bar dismount, and keeping her back knee under on her lever! All things that she has been super focused on and working so hard at! We are so proud of her!
Addison Poe- Beam: 2nd place
All Around: 10th place
Addison had a fantastic meet! She met several goals including keeping her back leg straight on her leap, a no bobble beam routine and a tight rebound on floor! We are so proud of her and all her hard work!
Morgan Wright- All Around: 13th
Morgan had an amazing meet at her state championships! She had a rough start at bars but kept a good attitude and brought it the rest of the meet and we were so proud of her for that! She met several goals including her shaping goal on vault, a no fall beam routine and clean back tumbling on floor! We are so proud of her and grateful to coach her!
