Team Lazer prepares for upcoming season..

Between Covid-19 closures and chaos, a new team coach, and losing their leader Ali Steffey the last few years have been trying and taxing on Team Lazer. As a coach, you wonder how all of these variables will effect them, there emotional state, and their performance. If there is anything they have taught me its never to count them out, always remember how resilient they are, and that their willingness to prevail out weighs just about any circumstance you can throw at them.

We have several kids who moved training groups, all of them have been training new skills and some have even mastered them. They have been busting their tails trying to get ready for what’s ahead. Even some of our current state champions are pushing themselves harder than I’ve seen. I’m not sure if this is because they feel they have nothing to prove or if they feel even more pressure then they did before. What I do know, is no matter what this season throws at them, no matter the results of each competition, I am incredibly proud of them and I have no doubt that they are some of the best kids around! Watch out meet season 2022, we are coming for you!
